Dux Capital is an early-stage venture capital firm founded in 2017 and headquartered in Austin, Texas, with additional presence in Mexico City, investing in diverse, Latinx-led startups across the United States and Latin America.

The firm focuses on seed and early Series A rounds in technology-driven companies, backing founders in sectors such as enterprise software, high tech, edtech, healthtech, fintech, consumer and retail, and impact businesses, with typical initial check sizes ranging from about $50,000 to $500,000.

Dux Capital’s mission is to bridge the funding gap for underrepresented Latino and Latinx entrepreneurs—who collectively represent an economy roughly equivalent to the world’s fifth largest—by combining capital with close, **hands-on** support in scaling operations, improving margins, and enabling cross-border growth between the U.S. and Latin America.

Backed in part by Startup México and leading Hispanic–Latino investors, the firm has raised multiple funds and built a portfolio of more than 20 companies, including notable names such as Mozper, Cubbo, Innovare, Atexto, Pura Mente, TRATO, and Fintonic, reflecting a strategy oriented toward high-growth, impact-driven, and regionally scalable technology businesses.

Led by co-founders Daniel Santamarina and José Luis Silva Vázquez, along with partner Susana Espinosa de los Reyes, Dux Capital positions itself as a “leader” (reflecting the meaning of “Dux” in Latin) in empowering Hispanic and Latinx founders, leveraging a strong community network and differentiated insight into Latinx markets to source, support, and scale the next generation of category-defining companies
