How Arkangeles works

Arkangeles operates as a regulated marketplace where curated startups raise capital from a community of angel investors, family offices, funds, and retail investors. The investment process is fully online: investors create an account, pass KYC checks, review deal rooms with documents, metrics and projections, and commit capital into specific rounds or diversified vehicles. The platform typically offers three types of instruments—equity (shares), debt, and revenue‑sharing/co‑ownership structures—allowing different risk‑return profiles.

Startups undergo a rigorous screening process; Arkangeles promotes fewer than 8% of the companies it reviews, aiming to present only ventures that are “investment‑ready” and have traction, solid teams, and scalable models. Investors are encouraged to diversify across at least 10–20 startups due to the high‑risk, high‑potential nature of early‑stage investing.

Regulation and safety

Arkangeles has obtained definitive authorization from Mexico’s CNBV to operate as an Institución de Fondeo Colectivo (equity crowdfunding) under the Fintech Law, making it one of the few regulated capital‑crowdfunding platforms in the country. This means its operations are supervised by CNBV and Banxico, with obligations on investor disclosure, AML/CTF controls, and legal structuring of each offering through regulated vehicles (e.g., Ángeles en Ark SAPI de CV).
