Sylon Capital, S.A.P.I. de C.V. is an authorized Institución de Fondos de Pago Electrónico (IFPE), or Electronic Payment Fund Institution, having received regulatory authorization from the Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores (CNBV) in April 2023. The company submitted its application for authorization in February 2022 and was approved with an initial capital of 6.56 million pesos. As an IFPE, Sylon Capital is authorized to issue, manage, redeem, and transmit electronic payment funds, operating under Mexico's Fintech Law enacted in 2018. The company provides a platform for electronic payment services and fund management accessible to individuals throughout Mexico through mobile and web interfaces.

Sylon Asesores operates Rivium, a micro-investing and robo-advisory platform launched in collaboration with Alpaca Securities. Rivium targets Mexican retail investors, allowing them to begin investing from as little as 100 pesos through a mobile application. The platform offers access to U.S. stock markets, including fractional shares, ETFs from BlackRock and Vanguard, bonds, cryptocurrencies, and commodities. Rivium features automated portfolio management, spare change investment functionality that rounds up card transactions, and commission-free trading with a one percent annual management fee. The platform is integrated with Now digital banking services backed by Invex Banco. Founded by Gonzalo Rivera and Gabino Fraga, Rivium has received backing from investors including 11 Tribes Ventures, OCEAN Accelerator, and Paradox Ventures.
