Wispok is a Mexican payment platform founded in 2021 and headquartered in Zapopan, Jalisco. The company was established by Alejandro Muñoz Burgos, Ricardo Fonseca Cervantes, and David Urtaza Rodríguez with the mission of simplifying digital payment processes for businesses and consumers. Wispok operates as an API-integrated payment acceptance solution that enables businesses to receive and manage payments through multiple channels including QR codes, payment links, and NFC technology.

The platform is authorized by Banco de México and holds all three CoDi (Cobro Digital) certifications, making it the only payment platform in Mexico with this comprehensive regulatory status. Wispok accepts various payment methods including credit and debit cards from Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, UnionPay, and Carnet, both domestic and international. The platform also supports SPEI interbank transfers, enabling real-time secure transactions.

Key features of Wispok include automated payment reconciliation across multiple bank accounts, split payment functionality called CoPay that allows users to divide transaction amounts among multiple people, and remote sales capabilities through shareable payment links. The platform provides real-time payment validation and direct reconciliation services for businesses. In 2023, Wispok reported reaching over 4.5 million Mexican households through its platform.

Wispok participated in the SAP.iO Foundry Latin America and Caribbean B2B fintech innovation program in 2023, gaining recognition as one of nine selected startups. The company employs approximately 22 to 26 people and targets businesses seeking efficient payment processing solutions and consumers requiring flexible payment options.
