Adelanta por Ziif (also known as Ziff) is a Mexican fintech company founded in August 2021 by Gerardo Name, operating as a business-to-business financial services provider specializing in revenue-based financing. The company is headquartered in Cuajimalpa de Morelos, Mexico City. Ziff's flagship product, Adelanta, provides commercial property owners and landlords access to capital by advancing up to 36 months of recurring rental receivables from their existing lease contracts in a single payment. This financing model allows real estate owners to obtain immediate liquidity while Ziff assumes collection risks, enabling business owners to focus on growth rather than cash flow management. The company targets Mexico's 4.46 million small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that often lack the credit history required by traditional financial institutions. In February 2024, Ziff completed the acquisition of Arrenda, a digital lending startup founded by Joe Merullo in 2022, to enhance its technological capabilities and expand its market penetration. Following the acquisition, Merullo joined Ziff's executive team as Chief Technology Officer. The company operates in Mexico's $9.23 billion real estate rental market and has established an ambitious growth target of distributing over MXN 1 billion in loans to SMEs by the end of 2027. As of early 2024, Ziff maintained a non-performing loan rate of 0% with no defaults recorded in its portfolio. The company's revenue-based financing model addresses a critical segment of the global $163 billion SME financing gap by providing alternatives to traditional credit-based lending. Ziff leverages a network of real estate advisors and digital platforms to distribute its financing solutions across Mexico.
