Ask Robin was an Estonian-founded fintech startup that operated as a financial services marketplace and loan comparison platform targeting underbanked customers in Latin America, including Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, and Peru. Founded in 2017 by Rain Sepp, the company positioned itself as a free financial search engine that helped users find and compare personal loan offers from multiple lenders. The platform initially launched with a financial education chatbot on Facebook Messenger that provided guidance to users before pivoting to focus on credit aggregation and loan marketplace services. Ask Robin used an interactive chatbot interface that asked users questions about their financial needs and preferences, then scanned the credit market to match them with suitable loan offers.
